Earlier this month, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and NFL safety Jonathan Owens tied the knot in Cabo, Mexico. They’ve been romantically linked since the summer of 2020.
Shortly after the wedding, Owens signed a contract with the Packers.
Speaking to the media at Tuesday’s OTA practice, Owens opened up about his football journey and marriage. He told reporters that he receives inspiration from Biles.
“Just watching her and how she worked every day going into the Olympics – her focus and her drive – it just makes you want to get up and do something because your partner is doing that,” Owens said.

Owens also called his contract with the Packers the “perfect wedding gift” during Tuesday’s media session.
“It was just like the perfect wedding gift, I guess you could say,” Owens said. “As soon as we got back from our short honeymoon, I came right here. Had to get to work.”
Last season, Owens had 125 total tackles, four pass breakups and a sack for the Texans. He’ll try to have similar production in Green Bay this fall.
