The six-year draft history of Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst provides a roadmap to finding his first-round pick in the 2024 draft. Almost without fail, Gutekunst has drafted young and elite athletes in the first round.
Of Gutekunst’s eight first-round picks, seven have been 22 or younger, including six that were 21 years old. Six had a Relative Athletic Score of 9.0 or higher, and all eight have been 8.0 or higher. Devonte Wyatt, at 24 years old, looks like the only true outlier.

So, who could be legitimate options in the 2024 draft?
Let’s take a look, using NFL Mock Draft Database’s consensus big board as a guide. Criteria: top 50 big board (between 10-50), 22 years old or younger, RAS of 8.0 or higher. Why the top 50? Quay Walker was the consensus No. 49 player in 2022.
We did not include any of the top-50 quarterbacks or top-10 consensus players: Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, Marvin Harrison Jr. Jayden Daniels, Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze, J.J. McCarthy, Dallas Turner, Joe Alt, Brock Bowers, Michael Penix Jr. and Bo Nix.
