Most of us know that May is Mental Health Awareness Month, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop caring any other time of the year. We have spent the last decade living in “unprecedented times” while being more connected to the pulse of the world than ever before.
That’s incredibly stressful to anyone who struggles to disconnect. Being “eternally online” is now considered normal and borderline expected. So, dear reader, let’s all just take a breath and check in with each other.
The usual summer escape from NFL bad news has been broken for Packers fans. We all thought our multi-time All-Pro cornerback was going to be rejoining the team. He isn’t.
Out in the real world, many of us are facing harsh realities. Less than 5 years ago, we experienced one of the strongest labor markets in history. Today, roughly 85% of unemployment is from people entering the workforce and failing to find career footing.
So let’s take a minute within our corner of the internet to see how we’re all doing. It’s easy to forget there’s a person on the other end of the comments they leave. Tell me how you’re doing.
