The Green Bay Packers are reportedly adding a quarterback who played in the USFL this past season.
They’re set to sign Alex McGough of the Birmingham Stallions, who have won two straight USFL Championships. It comes after he had a successful workout with the team.

Now that he’s going to sign with the team, he’ll have to report to training camp on Jul. 21, which is this Friday.
He’s coming off a great USFL campaign during the spring when he threw for 2,104 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also spent time with the Stallions in 2022 and finished with 460 yards.
Before he was with the Stallions, he spent time with the Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Houston Texans.
Let’s see if he can make the 53-man roster when training camp and the preseason end in September.
