Fox Sports analyst Shannon Sharpe is not happy about some recent comments from New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
During a recent interview with Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Rodgers pushed back on previous criticisms about skipping Green Bay Packers OTAs in 2022.
“I won MVP without doing offseason workouts,” the star quarterback said.
Sharpe views this as a selfish mindset from Rodgers.
“This is the Aaron Rodgers we know,” Sharpe said. “He speaks a lot of ‘I.’ ‘I’ won the MVP… I’ve never heard any other great quarterback mention that.”

The Hall of Fame tight end said Rodgers should have been getting extra work in with his young receivers before the Packers’ 2022 campaign. He specifically cited the late development of rookie wide receiver Christian Wood, suggesting that a breakout could’ve happened earlier in the year had Rodgers been present for OTAs.
Rodgers has been participating in the Jets’ OTAs this offseason, and has already gotten some extra work in with the team’s young receiving corps.
On Wednesday night, it was reported that Shannon Sharpe has reached a buyout with FS1 and this will be his last month on Undisputed with Skip Bayless.
