The Green Bay Packers have a chance to start 3-0 against the NFC North for the first time since the 2012 season when the Detroit Lions arrive at Lambeau Field for Monday night’s showdown.

Here are five things to watch and a prediction for Week 6:

1. Receiver spotlight

The Packers managed to score 34 points in Dallas despite only four catches from receivers. Davante Adams won’t play again Sunday, and the Lions are going to line up and play a lot of man-to-man coverage against the receivers behind him. Can Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Geronimo Allison, Jake Kumerow and Darrius Shepherd consistently get open, or will Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur need to find more ways to move the football in the passing game? The Lions’ secondary is solid, especially at corner. Valdes-Scantling had some success against the Lions as a rookie last season, but Rodgers may have to extend plays to find openings.

2. Gauntlet continues for Bulaga

The Packers’ best offensive lineman has been right tackle Bryan Bulaga. The veteran has consistently won battles against some of the NFL’s best edge rushers through the first five games. He’ll face prized free agent Trey Flowers on Monday night. Flowers is a versatile and physical rusher who got $90 million from the Lions. The Packers spent $118 million to acquire Preston and Za’Darius Smith. Bulaga can make sure the Packers look like the better spenders by taking Flowers out of the contest and continuing his All-Pro-level season.

3. Burks’ opportunity

Monday night could be Oren Burks’ opportunity to prove his value to the Packers defense. Not only is he a bigger body against the run, but he also provides the speed and athleticism to be a factor in coverage against tight ends and running backs. Expect him to be part of Mike Pettine’s plan for containing Kerryon Johnson and T.J. Hockenson. He’s healthy and ready to contribute. 4. Finding the counterpunch

The Lions are allowing 4.8 yards per rush and have allowed over 100 rushing yards in all four games this season, so don’t be surprised if Matt LaFleur prioritizes feeding Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams early and often. What will be the counterpunch? Aaron Rodgers completed 18 passes to running backs and tight ends last week. Play-action and misdirection could help LaFleur get the ball to others. Once again, it will take a group effort to overcome not having Davante Adams. Could fullback Danny Vitale play a bigger role, especially with Robert Tonyan out?

5. Jaire/King vs. Jones/Golladay

The matchups in the passing game when the Lions have the football could be fun. Can Jaire Alexander rebound against Marvin Jones, another terrific route runner? How will Kevin King handle the size and athleticism of Kenny Golladay? Both Jones and Golladay have tortured the Packers in recent years. Even veteran slot Danny Amendola against veteran corner Tramon Williams is a fascinating battle. The Packers need their secondary to play well across the board Monday night. Matthew Stafford has thrown 16 touchdown passes and two interceptions over the last seven games against the Packers.

Prediction: Packers 23, Lions 20 (3-2)

The Packers think they match up well against the Lions offense, and Matt LaFleur and Aaron Rodgers proved in Dallas they can manufacture offense without Davante Adams. Can they do it two straight weeks, against a team coming off a bye? The guess here is that Rodgers’ ability to extend plays and the defense’s consistent production disrupting the quarterback makes the difference at home.
