Good news, everyone! The Packers’ second preseason game will be on national TV!
On Saturday, the Green Bay Packers will take the field for their second of three preseason games and for the final time at Lambeau Field before week two of the 2021 regular season. This week, the New York Jets have been in town, joining the Packers for open practices on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of this weekend’s game.
Packers fans around the country who could not tune in for last week’s game against the Houston Texans will be able to see this contest, however, with NFL Network broadcasting the game live nationally. However, if you missed last week’s game and are hoping to get a first look at Jordan Love, you may be disappointed, as Love looks unlikely to play on Saturday after suffering a shoulder injury in last week’s game.
Still, there should be plenty of action worth watching. One starting cornerback job is still up in the air, so Kevin King and Eric Stokes may both see some action. The interior of the offensive line is still uncertain as well, so look for the team to try a few different combinations at the guard spots. And the wide receiver battle will continue to be one worth watching to see who emerges behind a solid top four of Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Allen Lazard, and Randall Cobb.
Here as always is your game primer for this weekend’s contest, with full broadcast and streaming details.
