The Green Bay Packers host the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football tonight. But with Packers star running back Aaron Jones dealing with a hamstring injury, will they play the ascending Lions with a full deck?
According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, Jones was listed as questionable on the Packers’ final injury report. However, Jones is expected to play in the game regardless.
That said, the team might give Jones a slightly lighter workload. He typically averages around 14 to 15 touches per game.
“#Packers WR Christian Watson and RB Aaron Jones — both listed as questionable with hamstring injuries — are expected to play tonight vs. the #Lions. The team will be cautious with the workload, particularly for Watson. But barring a setback, a boost for Green Bay’s offense,” Pelissero wrote.

As a result, we’re very likely going to see a healthy serving of AJ Dillon tonight against the Lions. Dillon leads the Packers with 107 rushing yards but isn’t the same receiving threat out of the backfield that Aaron Jones is.
The Packers have impressed many with how hot they’ve started under new starter Jordan Love.
Will Green Bay be able to continue the momentum against the Lions tonight?
