The Green Bay Packers have a few major questions staring the team in the face as they enter the 2022 season.
The biggest of which is what will star quarterback Aaron Rodgers do next? He just won his second consecutive MVP award, but made it clear he doesn’t want to remain with the Packers if they’re entering a rebuilding phase.
Well, the latest report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter suggests the Packers are doing no such thing. According to Schefter, the team is prepared to go “all in” on inking Rodgers to a new contract.
“Packers are prepared to go all in for Aaron Rodgers in 2022, spending as close to the cap this year and spreading it into future years as much as possible, per sources,” Schefter reported. “Saints used this approach for Drew Brees and Green Bay willing to deploy that model to further entice Rogers.”

Rodgers is clearly one of the best quarterbacks in the league and the Packers don’t want to lose him. After making two straight NFC title games, Green Bay came up just short in 2021.
If Rodgers returns, the team will likely be one of the favorites to come out of the NFC once again.
But if he doesn’t?
