The Green Bay Packers got some great news ahead of Thursday night’s game against the Detroit Lions.

Both running back Aaron Jones and wide receiver Christian Watson will be active. Jones will play for the first time since Week 1 while this will be Watson’s season debut.

This is perfect timing for the Packers since they’re about to play in the biggest game of their season (so far).

Both the Lions and Packers come into this game at 2-1 with sole possession of first place in the NFC North on the line. The Lions are coming off a win against the Atlanta Falcons while the Packers erased a 17-0 deficit to beat the New Orleans Saints last week.

The Packers will need both Jones and Watson playing well if they want to secure this win.

Kickoff will be at 8:15 p.m. ET and it’ll be televised by Amazon Prime Video.
