The Las Vegas Raiders signed one of the Green Bay Packers’ last remaining free agents. The team announced the signing of former Packers defensive lineman Tyler Lancaster on Wednesday.

The Packers originally signed Lancaster as an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern in 2018. He made the team as a rookie and went on to play in 59 games over the next four seasons, providing depth along the defensive line, primarily as a run stopper.

Lancaster, 27, produced 110 tackles, six tackles for losses, 1.5 sacks, three quarterback hits and one pass batted down while in Green Bay. He was on the field for 1,323 snaps on defense and 417 on special teams. Last season, he played 319 defensive snaps over 16 games and a career-high 145 special teams snaps.

In Las Vegas, Lancaster will be reunited with former Packers special teams coordinator Maurice Drayton.

The Packers didn’t need to bring back Lancaster after signing veteran Jarran Reed and using a first-round pick on Devonte Wyatt and a seventh-round pick on Jonathan Ford. The team also just claimed Chris Slayton off waivers from the 49ers.

The Packers have only two free agents remaining: cornerback Kevin King and outside linebacker Chauncey Rivers. Offensive tackle Dennis Kelly signed with the Colts earlier this month, while safety Henry Black signed with the Giants last week.
