Today marks a bittersweet day in the Green Bay Packers’ 2021 training camp — the final public practice of the summer. Today’s session is the second of two joint practices between the Packers and the New York Jets ahead of Saturday’s preseason game at Lambeau Field.
Wednesday’s practice was a positive one, with no big hits or injuries on either side. Safety and respect between the teams has surely been a point of emphasis from both coaches, as Matt LaFleur and Robert Saleh count each other as close friends. That relationship also helped LaFleur’s brother, Mike, get the offensive coordinator job with the Jets, so there is an even stronger family connection between the two teams.
Join us today as we follow along with the events of today’s practice and the media availability for some players after today’s session. The Packers and Jets will head out for practice at 10:25 AM Central, then keep it at APC for our practice notebook this afternoon.
