Green Bay Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari is active for the first time this season on Sunday against the Detroit Lions. The five-time All-Pro is making his return to the field in the season finale.
The Packers also have most other important players active, as coach Matt LaFleur promised this week. Green Bay has the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye clinched already.
Here’s a quick look at the inactive list for the Packers in Week 17:
Inactive list
CB Jaire Alexander
S Shawn Davis
DL Kingsley Keke
RB Aaron Jones
LB De’Vondre Campbell
OL Jake Hanson
DL Jack Heflin
Alexander was ruled out on Friday. He missed two practices this week while on the COVID-19 reserve list and is still recovering from a significant shoulder injury.
Jones (knee) and Campbell (elbow) are still battling through lingering injuries, making it an easy call to sit them in the finale. A week off and the bye week next week should allow both to be near full health for the start of the postseason.
Keke has been battling an illness. He was ruled out on Friday.
Davis, Hanson and Heflin are healthy scratches.
Who’s in
Bakhtiari is officially active and will start at left tackle. It’s his first game in over a year.
Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams and several other key players are also active. It’s unclear how long each starter will play against the Lions.
