The Green Bay Packers hosted Kentucky linebacker Trevin Wallace on a top 30 visit ahead of the 2024 NFL draft, per Aaron Wilson. Easton Butler was the first to report the visit on Twitter.
Teams are allowed to host up to 30 prospects on visits ahead of the draft. Packers Wire is tracking all the reported visits here.
Wallace, who entered the draft after his true junior season, produced 18 tackles for loss, 10.0 sacks, two forced fumbles and three interceptions over 36 games and 19 starts at Kentucky. He was a team captain during the 2023 season.
According to Pro Football Focus, Wallace produced 33 total stops and missed 10 tackles in 2023.
Wallace (6-1, 237) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.51 seconds, hit 37.5″ in the vertical leap and covered 10-7 in the broad jump at the combine. He produced 20 reps in the bench press at his pro day. His Relative Athletic Score is 9.33 out of 10.0.
Wallace, who is still only 21 years old, was invited to and participated at the Senior Bowl.
The Packers have a clear need at linebacker, and Wallace fits their type in terms of athleticism.
Wallace has a wide range of possible draft outcomes. He is the No. 118 player on the big board but could be a late Day 2 or Day 3 selection.
An incomplete testing profile (no agilities) and a history of injuries (missed at least one game in all three collegiate seasons) likely contributed to Wallace’s visit to Green Bay.
