
Joshua Shaw, a 27-year-old carpenter, died while working on construction at Lambeau Field last month.
His company confirmed that Shaw passed away after suffering injuries from a “serious incident” on June 15. Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy addressed Shaw’s death in his monthly column.
“Joshua Shaw, a carpenter with Mavid Construction, recently lost his life in an incident in the north end zone scoreboard,” Murphy said. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and fellow workers.”
WFRV’s Kyle Malzhan passed along a tribute to Shaw spotted at Lambeau Field last week.
“With a smile that could brighten the world and a laugh no wall could contain, his hand held a hammer and his heart held us all,” the tribute read. “Forever in our hearts.”

According to WBAY TV, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident leading to Shaw’s death. It’s expected to take up to six months.
Shaw was working alongside his father and brother. Our condolences go out to his loved ones for their loss.
