Packers Announce Aaron Jones’ Status For Sunday’s Game

The Green Bay Packers might be getting their top running back for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Aaron Jones has been listed as questionable as he continues to battle back from a knee injury that’s forced him to miss the last three games.

AJ Dillon, who is Jones’ backup, is also listed as questionable with a broken right thumb.

Packers’ RBs Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon both are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Buccaneers.

Jones was able to practice all week and didn’t appear to have a setback so that bodes well for his return.

He last played on Nov. 19 against the Los Angeles Chargers and only rushed for 14 yards on four carries. For the season, he’s only rushed for 245 yards and two touchdowns on 66 carries.

We’ll see if he’s active when the active/inactive lists come out at about 11:30 a.m. ET on Sunday.

Kickoff will then be at 1 p.m. ET.
