A legendary NFL city has been named the best place to live in the United States by one publication.

According to the latest U.S. News and World Report rankings, Green Bay, Wisconsin is the No. 1 city to live in in America. The home of the Packers received an overall score of 6.9/10 and is also rated the 27th-best place in the country to retire.

“Home to one of the most storied football franchises in the NFL, the Green Bay Packers, Green Bay has the perfect mix of big-city amenities complemented with a Midwestern, small-town feel,” U.S News and World Report writes. “This city boasts a thriving entertainment and arts scene, revitalized downtown, and two college campuses, creating an energy that may appeal to young families as well as retirees.”

Coming in right behind Green Bay in the rankings was Huntsville, Alabama, followed by Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina.

Boulder, Colorado checked in at No. 4, with Sarasota, Florida rounding out the top five.

It seems as though we’re losing the “best kept secret” tag 🤫. U.S. News and World Report just named Green Bay the #1 place to live in the United States. 🥇https://t.co/gSKoygxNBi

The next-highest ranked NFL city after Green Bay? Charlotte, North Carolina, the home of the Panthers, which was listed eighth.

They call Green Bay “Titletown” because of the Packers’ NFL and Super Bowl championships. Looks like there’s another thing the residents can boast about now.
