Green Bay Packers fans are pretty worried about Aaron Rodgers right now.
Rodgers returned to the lineup last Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, but was pretty rusty. He threw for 292 yards, but without a touchdown and with one pick in a 17-0 Packers win.
The Packers removed Rodgers from the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of last Sunday’s game, but they also added him to the injury report with a toe injury.
To make matters worse, Rodgers hasn’t practiced all week, including Thursday’s practice. He still plans to play on Sunday, but it’s difficult to imagine he shakes off the rust after not practicing all week.
Aaron Rodgers (toe) was not practicing but spent a good portion of the open periods talking with Matt LaFleur.

It’s worth mentioning Aaron Rodgers did tell the media on Wednesday that he’s going to play on Sunday vs. the Vikings.
“I’m definitely playing Sunday,” Rodgers said, via ESPN’s Rob Demovsky. “Today was a mental day so I think a number of us were either limited or DNPs/ Thankful to get a day to just to do some rehab. See how the week plays out practice-wise, but definitely playing Sunday.”
Aaron Rodgers could be just fine. But fans are worried his toe injury is worse than expected.
Take a look at what the NFL world is saying about Thursday’s Rodgers news.
#Packers QB Aaron Rodgers did not practice for second straight day. He was out with the toe injury. Rodgers has said he will “definitely” play Sunday. Worth noting Rodgers has not practiced since Nov. 1 because of COVID-19 and now the toe.

Is Rodgers done with practicing? He hasn’t had a full practice in 4 weeks. SMH

Maybe Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are just keeping it safe. The last thing they want is for Rodgers to get further injured.
The ultimate goal here, though, is for Rodgers to be healthy in time for the postseason. We all know what he’s capable of at full strength.
The Packers take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
