Aaron Rodgers is not a New York Jet yet, but Jets GM Joe Douglas seems very confident he will be eventually.
On Friday, Douglas appeared at a live radio event for WFAN’s Boomer & Gio and made it clear he expects Rodgers to be playing in New York in 2023.
“”He’s gonna be here,” Douglas told the live audience.

“The Jets can’t say much publicly about Aaron Rodgers and we don’t know when a deal will get done, but GM Joe Douglas offers this,” said ESPN’s Field Yates.

“Joe D with an uncharacteristic leak of information completely sauced off the sauce. I’d be drunk celebrating if I had a future HOFer coming to save my franchise too though,” a Jets fan said.

“That’s our GM! He went out there and got Boomer smacked off Long Island’s & said R-E-L-A-X… “He’s gonna be here!” #Jets,” another Jets fan added.

Rodgers has made it clear he wants to play for the Jets. The Jets have left no doubt that the feeling is mutual.
Now all that’s left is to work out the deal.
