Aaron Rodgers is trending on Twitter this Wednesday, but it has nothing to do about a potential trade involving the Jets and Packers.
Earlier this afternoon, Rodgers showed his support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. by responding to a tweet regarding his 2024 presidential run.
“Give me a sword. I need an army, and it can’t be just the Party. I need Democrats, Republicans, and Independents,” Kennedy wrote. “I won’t pretend to agree with you on every position. But I would make America a safe place to debate your positions and I will give you an ear and open mind.”
Rodgers replied to this tweet with the sword emoji.
Shortly after Rodgers hit send, he got crushed by sports fans for supporting Kennedy.
It’s cool that Rodgers has graduated from normal dumb Joe Rogan stuff to a new frontier of insane shit. I can’t wait for him to blame the polio vaccine for making him throw an interception https://t.co/AGThK0Hvz5

Another fan wrote, “First he lied about being vaccinated and then when caught on that lied about not being anti-vax unless there’s a second reason to support RFKJ…and yet he’s still more likable than Brett Favre, never become a sports fan kids.”

Last week, Rodgers shared a promo for Kennedy along with this caption: “kennedy2024.”
Kennedy has already filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission.
