Tomorrow’s report date should mark one of the biggest days in recent Packers history for a few different reasons, but largely because we’ll finally know what’s happening with a certain quarterback.

This weekend, some of the Green Bay Packers’ players have begun to report for training camp. The report date for veterans is on Tuesday, when camp truly begins in earnest and when the drama surrounding Aaron Rodgers should come to a head, one way or another.

While the national media can’t get enough of this situation, it would be understandable if Packers fans are feeling exhausted by the whole ordeal. For better or worse, things should finally become clear on Tuesday regarding Rodgers’ plans for the 2021 season, with the uncertainty hanging over the team changing into purpose and a plan.

Meanwhile, the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic means that fans are able to return to practice, though one of the Packers’ most treasured training camp traditions will remain off the table for another year. Fans planning to attend practice should keep in mind certain policies around attendance to ensure that everyone’s experience is as positive as possible.

And with COVID-19 in mind, we now find that there is a substantial financial penalty coming for any unvaccinated individuals who break protocols. Between the league’s strong push for vaccination among its players and hopefully good adherence to protocols by unvaccinated individuals, the league will be able to minimize the pandemic’s effect on the 2021 season.

On to the news!

The NFL relaxed policies for vaccinated players, but left much of last year’s protocols in place for the unvaccinated. Now, there are stiff fines coming if anyone subject to those policies breaks them — just under $15,000 per offense.
