Poor Caleb can’t handle fans being fans.
Let’s say you’re an NFL player. You’re in your first year, and your team beats your main rival on the road. Good for you! Hey, that’s fun, especially when your team hasn’t beaten that rival in literally more than six years.
Then you and some of your teammates decide to go perform that rival’s signature celebration…in their stadium…involving jumping into the stands with the fans. What exactly would you expect to happen when you try to make that jump?
If you thought the answer would be “the fans will welcome you with open arms,” congratulations, because you’re the most naïve football player to have ever existed. No! Of course those fans are going to try to immediately eject you from the stands and back onto the field, especially when you play for the Chicago Bears and are trying to perform a Lambeau Leap at Lambeau Field.
Apparently, the thought that Packers fans might not appreciate a rival player leaping into their domain did not occur to Caleb Williams, who complained last week about that very thing. Let’s just say that if he thinks that was a bad experience, he should have a particularly fun time when the Bears play in Philadelphia on Black Friday this fall.
Meanwhile, the Packers’ cornerback unit will be tasked with keeping Williams in check when they face the Bears twice in 13 days this coming December. The team clearly sounds confident in their top three corners, and hopefully that trio will hold up this season, both in terms of quality of play and health.

Williams says that Packers fans “suck.” That’s cute. Only one group involved here has a song written about how much they still suck, and it’s not us.

Lollipop man banned from giving children ‘high fives’ because it ‘upsets drivers’ – YorkshireLive
Never mind the fact that people are so obnoxious that they can’t wait another ten seconds to cross a road. Let’s talk about the fact that in the UK, people who hold signs and help kids cross the street to get to school are called “lollipop men.”
