Mile High from Hell: Packers Suffer Catastrophic Losses

December 15, 2025 by Packers Talk

At one point on Sunday, the Packers led by nine points. In a game where they had opportunities to lead by forty points, had the cornerbacks caught interceptions thrown their way. Jordan Love goes in for the kill shot to Christian Watson. However, the pass was underthrown, and Watson exits with an injury.

From there, everything went downhill so incredibly quickly. The loss to the Broncos is not even close to the worst loss suffered on Sunday. In a stunning turn of events, Micah Parsons goes down on a no contact injury. According to multiple reports, Parsons has torn his ACL and his season is over.

Everything that could have went wrong for the Packers did so in a matter of minutes. Now, we are sitting here wondering if this game from hell has already ended a season.

One Game at a Time: Packers Focus Needs to be on the Bears

This is a team that had nothing but Super Bowl aspirations this season. As much as coaches like to say we take this one game at a time, we already know their eyes were on the prize. You do not make a trade for Micah Parsons with the thought of one game at a time.

Rarely does a game leave me speechless but today is that day. I am struggling to even find the words for how disastrous this situation is. Nevertheless, Matt LaFleur said it best in his post-game press conference, no one is going to feel sorry for you.

In December, many teams are dealing with injuries that could have derailed seasons, but you have to keep going. The Packers are going to have to adapt without Micah Parsons. Lukas Van Ness, Rashan Gary and Kingsley Enagbare all have to step up.

While everything is bleak, the reality is that the season is not over. We have a game on Saturday against the Bears, who have also had key injuries. The Lions also lost to the Rams, making this Bears game once again for first place in the NFC North. Next man up, and now we will truly take the rest of the season one game at a time.
