Michael Jordan’s Former Trainer Trolls Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams

July 25, 2021 by The Spun Leave a Comment

Aaron Rodgers embraces Davante Adams.

It seems Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams rankled Michael Jordan’s former trainer with their recent cryptic social media postings.

On Friday night, Rodgers and Adams each posted the same picture of Jordan and Scottie Pippen on their respective Instagram stories. Both stars are involved in their own disputes with Green Bay management, and many thought their posts indicated they are prepared to make the 2021 season their “Last Dance” with the Packers.

However, that didn’t sit well with Tim Grover, the well-known longtime trainer of Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade. Grover posted a clear message for Rodgers and Adams on his own Instagram this afternoon.

“This photo appeared in the Instagram stories of @aaronrodgers12 and @taeadams today,” Grover wrote. “MJ and Scottie won six titles together. I believe Rodgers and Adams have zero together. Winning doesn’t lie.”

Grover’s post is technically historically accurate, but it’s also a little bit over the top. We don’t think Rodgers and Adams were saying they are like Jordan and Pippen or as accomplished as they are.

As we said, it looks like this was a “Last Dance” reference. Of course, if it was, Packers fans are hoping it means the upcoming season is the final go-around for the dynamic duo–as opposed to 2020.
