Look: Photo Of Aaron Rodgers, Fellow Packers Star Is Going Viral

July 25, 2021 by The Spun Leave a Comment

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers against Philadelphia.

Aaron Rodgers may not be on good terms with the Packers organization, but that didn’t stop him from getting some work in with his longtime Green Bay teammate earlier this week.

On Friday, Proactive Sports Performance, a popular gym for big-time athletes just outside of Los Angeles, posted a photo of Rodgers and two-time All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari.

The ninth-year lineman and close friend of Rodgers reposted the picture on his account.

“It’s good this is only a photo,” Bakhtiari wrote. “The amount of (expletive) talking between us is NSFC.”

Just like everything else in the recent Rodgers-Green Bay sage, it’s unclear what this post means. Could this be a hint that the disgruntled QB is returning to the Packers organization for the 2021 season?

Not according to Las Vegas oddsmakers. Pointed out by Packers insider Bill Huber of Sports Illustrated, several sportsbooks have updated their odds for 2021 — seemingly bracing for an Aaron Rodgers retirement.

Like Rodgers, Bakhtiari is questionable to suit up for the Packers in Week 1 — albeit for much different reasons. The 29-year-old tackle is currently recovering from an ACL tear he suffered during a practice on New Year’s Eve last year. He won’t be ready for this year’s training camp, but he says he’ll be back as soon as he’s medically cleared.

Rodgers has yet to show up for any offseason activities this year.

With training camp kicking off next week, his presence (or lack thereof) should be a solid indicator of his future with the team.
