Aaron Rodgers is officially no longer a member of the Green Bay Packers.
Green Bay finalized a deal to send him to the New York Jets on Wednesday afternoon. Upon announcing the trade, the Packers released a video tribute to their longtime quarterback.
“Gratitude.
Thank you for everything, @AaronRodgers12,” the Packers wrote.

The video compiled footage throughout his legendary career. It showed Rodgers’ first of 475 touchdown passes, his Hail Mary strike to stun the Detroit Lions in 2015, and a triumphant trip to the Super Bowl in 2011.
Highlights played over praise from executives and teammates throughout the years. The video ended with a soundtrack of fans chanting “MVP” before cutting to a white screen reading “Thank you, 12.”
Rodgers shared his own farewell to Green Bay in a lengthy Instagram post.
“I’m not sure it’s possible to fully express the gratitude that I have to the Packers, our incredible fans, the state of Wisconsin, the thousands of players that I crossed paths with, the incredible men and women who work for the organization, and the amazing people who I got to meet along the way, in one post with 10 pictures,” Rodgers wrote. “But I hope you read this and feel my heart and soul, filled with love, joy, and peace about my time in green and gold.”
