The Green Bay Packers franchise may be ready to move on from longtime starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but ahead of the NFL Draft, it seems clear that not everyone in the fanbase is.
A photo from the NFL Draft in Kansas City is going viral of a Packers fan with an Aaron Rodgers jersey. But on the back of the jersey, the word “RODGERS” is covered and replaced with the words “I AM SAD.”
The posture of the fan in the photo definitely sells the image that he is one sad Packers fan right now.
Green Bay traded Rodgers to the New York Jets this week in exchange for a second-round pick and some pick swaps this year and a conditional second-round pick next year.

For some Packers fans, the trade was a relief from several years of frustration with Rodgers’ on-field struggles and off-the-field antics ranging from being aloof with the team to going full anti-vaxxer in 2021.
But just because his departure might be a net positive for the Packers doesn’t mean everyone is ready to accept it. Over time they will just like Rodgers himself helped the fans to get over losing Brett Favre (to the same team no less) 15 years ago.
If the Packers are playoff bound in 2023, that fan will get over losing Rodgers very quickly.
