NFL legend Brett Favre is standing with now-former FOX News commentator Tucker Carlson.
After remaining mostly silent since being named in the Mississippi welfare scandal, the longtime Packers QB spoke up on Twitter Monday. Telling his 345,000 followers that it’s time to boycott FOX News for their termination of the leading right-wing voice.
“I’m with Tucker,” Favre said, attached to video of Megyn Kelly. “Time to boycott FOX until they come to their senses and let the man speak.”

While official reasons for Carlson’s firing have yet to be disclosed, it’s more likely than not that Tucker was let go of by the network, not for the content of what he said, but the various legal issues that he caused them.
Including, but not limited to: a lawsuit from a former staffer alleging a misogynistic work environment, a looming defamation case from Ray Epps and troublesome texts uncovered by the recent Dominion Voting settlement that cost FOX $787 million.
FOX News has seen the ratings for its 8 PM time slot fall of a cliff since the decision was made. And a recent report from Axios has revealed that Carlson intends to launch his own “media empire” to compete with his former employer.
He’ll certainly have a supporter in Favre.
