Jordan Love Reveals Aaron Rodgers’ Final Message To Him After Trade

The Jordan Love era is officially upon us in Green Bay. And after studying under Aaron Rodgers for the past two seasons, the 24-year-old QB revealed what Rodgers said to him after the Jets trade.

“It was kind of just, ‘Wish you the best moving forward,'” Love told Packers beat writer Ryan Wood. “He wished me the best, said he’d always be there if I had any questions or anything.”

Jordan Love says he talked with Aaron Rodgers after the trade. Unsurprising, it was a cordial conversation: “It was kind of just, ‘Wish you the best moving forward.’ He wished me the best, said he’d always be there if I had any questions or anything.”

Rodgers has had nothing but positive things to say about Love publicly, and reports out of the Packers organization are that the four-time MVP had been an “incredible mentor” not only to Jordan Love, but the rest of the quarterback room.

Love will get every chance to prove himself this year as the team’s franchise QB, but Green Bay is preaching “patience.”

“He’s not going to be able to step out on the field and immediately light this up,” ESPN’s Diana Russini reported Tuesday. “It’s going to take some time just because he hasn’t had that much time out on the field.”
