Jordan Love Has Very High Hopes For Packers’ Offense In 2023

For the first time in 15 years, the Green Bay Packers will have a new starting quarterback under center this upcoming season.

Jordan Love is set to replace Aaron Rodgers after the latter was traded to the New York Jets. It’s something Love was preparing for ever since he was drafted in 2020 and he’ll now get to live it.

He just wrapped up his first minicamp as QB1 and isn’t believing the outside noise from the doubters.

“I think we’ve got a great team,” Love said, (first transcribed by NFL.com). “I think we have a good offense, a young offense. We have a lot of work to keep putting in, keep building together. And I think we have a really good defense. Once we get everybody back and healthy, we’ll be really good.”I think we’ve got playmakers on offense. I think all the weapons we have at receiver, tight end, and running back, we’ve got guys who can make plays.”

Outside of Love, the Packers have Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon at running back, plus Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, and Romeo Doubs at wide receiver.

Some of these weapons are already proven, but others such as Reed and Doubs will need to show that they can be difference-makers at the NFL level.

Love will also need to show that he can play. To date, he’s only appeared in 10 games, with one start. In those games, he has completed 60% of his passes for 606 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions.
