The news out of Green Bay Packers training camp continues to indicate that starting quarterback Jordan Love looks good ahead of the 2023 season.
According to ESPN Packers insider Rob Demovsky, Love had his “best practice of camp” today. It featured a 16-for-22 day with 60 yards on the final drive that included a 33-yard strike to Samori Toure.
“Jordan Love finishes his best practice of camp with 2-minute drive to the 1-yard line for an end-of-half field goal. Love was 4-for-7 for 60 yards with a 33-yard dime to Samori Toure on left sideline. Unofficially, Love was 16-for-22 on the day. Practice done after 1:53,” Demovsky wrote.
Fans were thrilled to see that Love is playing so well in training camp. Though some did express more concerns over the team’s apparent redzone struggles, most are just glad to see Love looking like a functional quarterback for now:

“Let’s go!!” one fan wrote.
“Not. Too. Shabby,” wrote another.
“If MLF opts for an 18 yard FG to end a half instead of going for it in the regular season we might lose our minds,” a third pointed out.
“Can someone please ask about his effectiveness in the red zone. In Preseason and in college he could move the team but drives would stall in the red zone. I think to compensate he is going to throw a lot of rz interceptions, trying to rid this tag,” asked a fourth.
How do you think Love will perform this season?
