TE Tucker Kraft and RT Zach Tom could join five Packers in earning Pro Bowl honors this season.
We’re about a week out from the Green Bay Packers kicking off their 2025 training camp, which means that football is right around the corner. Finally, we’re going to get some real developments on the team as the pads come on for the first time this offseason.
Before we move on to the season, though, let’s make some predictions: How many Packers will be Pro Bowlers in 2025?
Green Bay returns five players who have made Pro Bowls with the team: running back Josh Jacobs, center Elgton Jenkins, defensive end Rashan Gary, defensive tackle Kenny Clark and safety Xavier McKinney. Jacobs, Gary and McKinney all made the cut last season, with Jacobs and McKinney doing it in their first year with the team.
Clark dealt with a foot injury that occurred in Week 1 and required offseason surgery. Will he bounce back? We’ll just have to see. Jenkins still hasn’t put on a Packers helmet, as he continues his contract holdout with the team. In a week, we’ll find out if he’s willing to take on the $50,000 per day fine that comes with missing mandatory training camp practices. He’s already lost over $100,000 by missing minicamp last month.
As far as new Pro Bowl candidates go, the two that come to mind to me are tight end Tucker Kraft and right tackle Zach Tom. Tom is in line for a big payday soon, as he’s already proven himself as one of the better pass-blocking right tackles in football at 26 years old. The Packers haven’t force-fed Kraft in his first two years in the league, but he’s one of the more productive “true” tight ends in football, playing a mostly in-line position to 50 receptions, 707 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in 2024. At only 24 years old, you’d figure he’d only continue to grow, and the team would find more ways to get him the football.
So, who do you have making the Pro Bowl this year? Throw your predictions in the comment section.
