Green Bay Packers season is 24/7/365 for plenty of fans, like me. Even though it’s early June, there’s still plenty that’s happening in Packerland. As we wait for Aaron Rodgers’ arrival to mandatory minicamp this upcoming week, let’s catch up on what’s going on with the team.
*As stated above, the Packers annual mandatory minicamp takes place this week from Tuesday June 7-Thursday June 9. Players like Aaron Rodgers, Jaire Alexander, Preston Smith and Sammy Watkins, among others, should be present in Green Bay this week – after skipping OTA’s, which are optional.
*The Packers wrapped up their second week of OTA’s, with the final practice happening yesterday. Some brief notes include Christian Watson struggling with drops, Romeo Doubs shining, Mason Crosby looking great and TE Tyler Davis continuing his ascension.
*According to Packers reporter Andy Herman, Jordan Love has been slightly on the disappointing side so far during OTA’s. It’s not that Love has been horrendous, it’s just that we’ve yet to see that giant leap which makes your eyes open. He details his thoughts on Love below.
*With that said, ESPN’s Rob Demovsky wrote an article which talks about Love regaining his swagger. The question is, will it matter?
*Packers WR Juwann Winfree looks to take a leap in 2022 and be a significant contributor.

*Former Packers QB Brett Favre will participate in Donald Driver’s annual Charity softball game, which takes place on Sunday, June 12th in Appleton, WI. Favre and Driver played together for 9 seasons in Green Bay, from 1999-2007, hooking up for 503 receptions, 6,977 yards and 39 touchdowns. Additional current and former Packers participating are James Jones, AJ Dillon, Aaron Jones, Desmond Bishop, Jarrett Bush, Nick Collins, Robert Ferguson, Jermichael Finley, Antonio Freeman, and Ahman Green.
*Former Packers defensive lineman Alden Roche passed away at 77 years old earlier this week. Roche, a Louisiana native, played with the Packers from 1971-1976. He was credited with a team high 8.5 sacks in his final season in Green Bay and was a key member of the 1972 defense, a Packers team that won their division.
