On Friday, the Packers signed veteran safety Jonathan Owens. Last month, he officially tied the knot with Olympic gymnast Simone Biles.

Shortly after this signing was announced, Biles asked her Twitter followers to send her Green Bay recommendations.

Amy Trask, the former CEO of the Raiders, was more than happy to answer.

“Wear a coat – yup, I learned that when I was with the @raiders and we played the @packers in GB in the cold – most importantly, introduce yourself to Red Batty – Red is the absolute best – and he’ll take care of you with hand warmers and warm stuff – and hi @Simone_Biles and Red,” Trask tweeted.

Owens entered the NFL in 2018 as an undrafted free agent. After spending time with the Cardinals as a rookie, he signed with the Texans in September of 2019.

Last season, Owens finally had the chance to show what he can do in a prominent role. The Missouri Western product had 125 total tackles, four pass breakups and a sack.

Hopefully, Owens and Biles will enjoy their time in Green Bay.
