On Tuesday, former Green Bay Packers star Charles Woodson was on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football to discuss a plethora of different topics. During his time on the show, he shared his thoughts on Aaron Rodgers‘ future with the team.
For the second offseason in a row, Rodgers is being mentioned in several trade rumors. To be fair, though, he hasn’t yet said he wants out of Green Bay.
Nonetheless, Woodson believes the Packers should consider trading Rodgers this offseason.
“If I’m putting my GM hat on, I’m thinking about trading Aaron Rodgers,” Woodson said on Good Morning Football.

Although it would be interesting to see what a blockbuster trade involving Rodgers would look like, the Packers aren’t exactly ready to move on from him.
Packers president Mark Murphy recently said he wants Aaron Rodgers back for the 2022 season
“A key factor will be whether Aaron Rodgers comes back for the 2022 season,” Murphy wrote, via the Packers’ official site. “Matt, Brian, executive vice president/director of football operations Russ Ball and I are all in agreement that we want Aaron to come back. He is likely to win his fourth league MVP, is the unquestioned leader of our team and is still playing at a high level at 38.”
The Packers will have an important decision to make this offseason, that’s for sure.
