Colin Cowherd Has 1 Question For Aaron Rodgers

July 23, 2021 by The Spun Leave a Comment

FOX Sports 1 host Colin Cowherd.

Colin Cowherd has always been critical of Aaron Rodgers — and with the recent drama surrounding the Green Bay Packers quarterback, that criticism has only amplified.

With Rodgers’ longtime rival Tom Brady cutting it up with his teammates at last night’s ring ceremony and fellow Wisconsin superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo celebrating an NBA title during today’s championship parade, Cowherd had one question: “Where is Aaron Rodgers?”

“I watched the most humble and grateful athlete in Giannis who’s impossible not to like. And this morning I woke up and thought, ‘Where is Aaron Rodgers?’

“With his Hollywood friends? Texting his media buddies to get his message out? Where is he?”

The Fox Sports analyst views Brady as a team-first leader willing to do anything to win and Giannis as a humble superstar who gets things done the right way.

Aaron Rodgers? Not so much.

“All I think about this morning with Brady is team, family and fun and joyful. I think of Giannis as grateful, humble and family and friends.

“When I think of Aaron this morning, I think disengaged, a little manipulative, a little petty, a little vindictive.”

This is the second time this week Cowherd has taken a shot at the reigning league MVP — specifically comparing him to Brady. On Tuesday, The Herd w/ Colin Cowherd host criticized Rodgers’ “meltdown” after the Packers drafted Jordan Love. He compared Rodgers’ reaction to how Brady handled the situation when the Patriots drafted Jimmy Garoppolo back in 2014.

Rodgers has yet to report to any of Green Bay’s offseason activities. With or without their superstar QB, the Packers kickoff training camp practices next week.
