Aaron Rodgers Reacts To Milwaukee Bucks Winning NBA Title

July 21, 2021 by The Spun Leave a Comment

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers against Philadelphia.

On Tuesday night, the Milwaukee Bucks stepped on their home floor with a chance to win the NBA Finals.

The Phoenix Suns opened the NBA Finals with two wins at home and looked to be the better team. However, the Bucks battled back, winning two games at home and then going on the road to take down the Suns in Game 5.

After winning three straight, the Bucks had a chance to deliver a title in front of the home crowd. A raucous crowd of nearly 18,000 in the stadium and another 65,000 outside the stadium watched as Giannis Antetokounmpo had one of the best games of his career.

He dropped 50 points as the Bucks took down the Suns by a final score of 105-98 to win the series – and the NBA title. Following the win, Milwaukee Bucks part-owner Aaron Rodgers delivered a simple message.

“Crown em. #nbachamps,” he said on Twitter.

Fans in Wisconsin might be wondering what Rodgers’ future is with the Green Bay Packers. However, he’s just focused on the other team he’s invested in – financially and otherwise.

For the Bucks, it’s an incredible comeback after being down 0-2 in the series. Giannis and Khris Middleton put the team on their respective backs over the past four games as Milwaukee completed its comeback.

It’s the team’s first NBA championship in 50 years.
