The conversation eventually shifted to head coach Matt LaFleur. In talking about his head coach, Rodgers said the third-year head coach has changed significantly over the past few years.
The reigning NFL MVP said LaFleur is much more comfortable as the head coach than when he started.
“He’s so much more comfortable in his own skin as the front man, as the guy talking every day,” Rodgers said of his head coach.
Aaron Rodgers says Matt LaFleur is very different as a head coach from guy who entered 2 years ago: “He’s so much more comfortable in his own skin as the front man, as the guy talking every day.”
Matt LaFleur has been that way with media too, as his “pee” quote today indicated.

It makes sense. LaFleur had never been a head coach before he took over as the Packers head coach before the 2019 season.
He coached as an assistant at the collegiate level and then made the jump to the NFL before assuming a head coaching job in college. After climbing up the ladder at the NFL level, he finally earned the Packers head coaching job.
He’s done pretty well so far, leading Green Bay to two NFL title games in his two seasons as the team’s head coach. He owns a 26-6 regular season record as the Packers head coach, but now it’s time to finally win the conference and fight for a Super Bowl.
