Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wasn’t present when the team took the practice field this afternoon as the team begins to prepare for Sunday’s showdown with the Minnesota Vikings.
However. when Rodgers met with the media via Zoom post-practice, he made it very clear that he will be playing on Sunday.
“I’m definitely playing Sunday,” said the starting QB.
Rodgers indicated the team’s day was mostly focused on the mental aspect of the game and he spent the majority of his time rehabbing his injured toe, which popped up on the injury report last Saturday after Rodgers rejoined the team from his 10 day absence due to being on the Covid 19 reserve list.
The team will be back on the practice field tomorrow and there’s a chance Rodgers could miss that session as well, but he seems confident he’ll be playing on Sunday.
