Aaron Rodgers Has Brutally Honest Admission On Green Bay

July 29, 2021 by The Spun Leave a Comment

Green Bay is one of the most historic NFL cities in the country, but it’s typically not the kind of city that attracts free agents – at least not on its own.

Aaron Rodgers admitted this much during his bombshell press conference on Wednesday.

The superstar quarterback has spent his entire NFL career in Green Bay. He will spend at least one more season in the city, too. Rodgers, who was holding out – and even threatened retirement – reported to training camp earlier this week. It’s looking like the 2021 season could be a “The Last Dance” type year for Rodgers in Green Bay.

While discussing his issues with the franchise, Rodgers had a brutally honest admission on the city of Green Bay.

“Green Bay isn’t a huge vacation destination,” Rodgers admitted. “People are coming here to play with me, to play with our team.”

Understandably, Rodgers wants more influence on coaching and personnel decisions.

It remains to be seen if the superstar quarterback will get it, but he’s reported to training camp, indicating that it’ll likely happen moving forward.

Green Bay is scheduled to open the 2021 season on Sunday, Sept. 12 against New Orleans.
