Aaron Rodgers’ future in the National Football League is up in the air, as the four-time MVP quarterback has yet to reveal his plans for the 2022 season.
The Green Bay Packers star’s dating life is apparently up in the air, too.
According to a report on Monday, Rodgers and his ex-fiancee, Shailene Woodley, are no longer a couple. However, they have remained friends and Rodgers is reportedly hoping for a reconnection.
“They both had intense work schedules in the fall and it wasn’t possible for them to focus on their relationship,” a source told PEOPLE. “Now when Aaron’s season is over, he wants to give it another try. He thinks Shailene is very special. She is more hesitant though.”

Woodley appears to be willing to spend time with Rodgers, at least.
According to TMZ Sports, Rodgers and Woodley went to David Bakhtiari’s wedding together on Saturday.

However, Rodgers and Woodley are just friends – for now, at least.
From Yahoo! Sports:
Over the weekend, Rodgers, 38, officiated Green Bay Packers teammate David Bakhtiari’s wedding to Frankie Shebby in Santa Barbara, California, the source says. Woodley attended with Rodgers as a friend, though another source tells PEOPLE that the quarterback is hoping they’ll reconcile.
The wedding looked like a fun time.

Rodgers and Woodley’s reported split was amicable, according to PEOPLE.
“It was an amicable split; it just wasn’t working,” a source told the outlet. “They’re very different people with busy careers and there were obstacles that they couldn’t surmount. They will remain friendly; there’s no bad blood and no drama. It just didn’t work out for them.”
Perhaps we’ll see Woodley supporting Rodgers in Green Bay next season – or maybe it’ll be Denver, or Pittsburgh, or Nashville…
