Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams Post Cryptic Picture On Social Media

July 25, 2021 by The Spun Leave a Comment

Aaron Rodgers embraces Davante Adams.

Usually, a picture is worth a thousand words. In Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers’ case though, it might just be worth three.

On Friday night, Adams and Rodgers posted a picture of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen on their Instagram stories. Neither star for the Green Bay Packers attached a caption to their post.

Although it’s possible that Adams and Rodgers just wanted to troll their fans, the NFL world believes they’re hinting at the 2021 season being their version of “The Last Dance.”

It’s been reported several times that Rodgers no longer wants to play for Green Bay. Some oddsmakers even believe he might retire to avoid suiting up for the franchise again.

Adams, meanwhile, recently broke off contract talks with the Packers. At this point, both players have unclear futures in Green Bay.

Let’s also not forget that Rodgers referred to Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst as Jerry Krause, the late general manager of the Chicago Bulls who was portrayed in a negative light during “The Last Dance” documentary.

Rodgers’ days in Green Bay seem numbered, but that doesn’t mean he won’t play this upcoming season. He could potentially set aside his differences with the organization just so he can have one last run with his teammates.

With training camp about to begin for the Packers, Adams and Rodgers should provide updates on their status very soon.
