Conference play subsides for the holiday season and picks back up with two games at the Kohl Center on Dec. 30 against Purdue and Jan. 5 when the Indiana Hoosiers come to town.
On Jan. 9, the Badgers will travel to Champaign, Ill. to take on Illinois. Following the contest versus the Illini, the Badgers will return to the Kohl Center to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Jan. 12.
The Badgers will then hit the road for four of their next five games, which is never easy regardless of the competition. First up is Rutgers on Jan. 16 on the road, followed by a contest with Michigan in Ann Arbor on Jan. 20. The Badgers come home to face Penn State on Jan. 23, before heading to Lincoln, Neb. on Jan 27 to face Nebraska. On Jan. 30, the Badgers will take on Minnesota on the road.
Wisconsin will enjoy some much needed time at home following their time in Minnesota. The Iowa Hawkeyes come to town on Feb. 3 and Illinois comes into town on Feb, 6. The Badgers will alternate home/road games for the rest of the year.
The Badgers travel to Maryland on Feb. 9 in a road contest that could be their toughest matchup of the year. They return home on Feb. 13 for their only matchup with the Michigan State Spartans. Exactly a week later, the Badgers will head to Columbus for their only matchup of the year with Ohio State. Nebraska will visit the Kohl Center on Feb. 23, and the Badgers final contest of the year comes on Feb. 27 on the road versus Purdue.
In their first season under head coach Marisa Moseley, the Badgers will be looking to improve on their horrendous 2-18 conference record from a season ago. Tip-times and TV will be released at a later date.
