Wisconsin had another busy group of official visits this weekend.
The Wisconsin Badgers have now wrapped up their second weekend of official visits, where another large group of priority targets made their way to campus.
Wisconsin had a strong first weekend, as five recruits popped a commitment after their visits, while others could still be on the way over the coming weeks. They followed that up with another important weekend of visits where current commits and hopeful targets made the trip up to Madison to soak in the summer.
The Badgers usually preserve their third weekend of official visits for needs only, so that group changes quite a bit, always. So, where does Wisconsin stand with its 2026 recruiting class after the first two weekends of official visits?
We started with the offensive side of the ball. Let’s go over to the defensive side now.
Defensive Line
Wisconsin is done here after landing two commitments during the first weekend: three-star Djidjou Bah and three-star Arthur Scott.
They canceled a visit with three-star Jermaine Polk, who went off the board to Rutgers this weekend. It could have been a three-lineman class, but the Badgers are comfortable with their group and seem set here.
Outside Linebacker
This is a very fluid position group with a few big shots for the Badgers.
Wisconsin brought four-stars McHale Blade and Jackson Samuels-Ford to campus during the first weekend of visits. Both would be massive additions but have major offer lists. Blade just went off the board to Michigan on Monday, while Ford has Penn State, Ohio State, and Michigan after him.
The Badgers also lost three-star Carmelow Reed, who flipped to Ole Miss, so they’re left without anyone currently at the position.
Three-star Ben Duncum is scheduled to be on campus this upcoming weekend, but Oklahoma State, Kansas State, and Kentucky are all in the mix there. Fellow three-star Hudson Woods was also scheduled to be on campus, but that’s unclear after he committed to SMU on Monday as well.
So, Wisconsin has some figuring out to do here.
Inside Linebacker
The Badgers are done here as well after landing in-state linebacker Ben Wenzel after the first weekend of official visits.
Wisconsin had missed out on a few targets in the cycle, but previously got a commitment from three-star Aden Reeder, and Wenzel now closes the class out.
Cornerbacks
Wisconsin has a commitment from Carsen Eloms to lead the way. And three-star Jamyan Theodore is their lead guy to join him in the 2026 class.
Theodore was on campus this weekend after visiting Kentucky last weekend and still has Tennessee and Louisville on the docket. A Tennessee native, Wisconsin is hoping to find a way to pry him from out-of-state.
Safety
Perhaps the most wide-open group of them all, Wisconsin is looking for two safeties in the class.
They hosted four-star Messiah Tilson much earlier in the process, but he visited Rutgers this weekend and could be heading there when it’s all said and done.
Other targets, such as Zachary Taylor and Chase Geter, were on campus this weekend, while Nick Reddish was on campus during the first weekend. Then, Georgia natives Tony Forney and Jowell Combay are currently scheduled to visit this weekend.
It’s an open group for the Badgers. We’ll see who ends up committing.
