The Badgers are rising through the recruiting ranks after a few recent commits.
The Wisconsin Badgers picked up a pair of commitments over the weekend, landing three-star defensive back Zachary Taylor on Friday before earning four-star wide receiver Zion Legree’s commitment on Sunday.
The pair of pledges brought Wisconsin’s total to 13 in the 2026 class, getting them a needed addition at safety and their second wideout in the cycle.
Wisconsin still has much more work to do, but they’re inching closer to their goal for the 2026 recruiting class, with certain positions beginning to fill up.
Now, where does their 2026 recruiting class rank after the recent commits?
247Sports has Wisconsin at No. 34, a slight bump from last week, while Rivals has them at 36 with their 13 commitments.
Interestingly, 247Sports doesn’t rank a single Wisconsin commit as a four-star in this cycle. Taylor is the highest-rated commit in the class with an ‘89’ rating as a high three-star. Behind him are defensive lineman Djidjou Bah (‘88’ rating), tight end Jack Sievers (‘88’ rating), and linebacker Aden Reeder (‘88’ rating).
As for Rivals, two commits are currently four stars: quarterback Ryan Hopkins and the recently committed Legree.
Apart from that, the remaining 11 are three stars, with wideout Tayshon Bardo, linebacker Aden Reeder, and defensive back Zachary Taylor being the top three of the bunch.
