The Badgers quarterback broke down his Rutgers performance and looked ahead to this week’s game.
Fresh off a 42-7 blowout victory over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, the Wisconsin Badgers are staying on the road this week to face the Northwestern Wildcats here in Week 8, as they look to bounce back and improve to 5-2.
It was the second consecutive week that Wisconsin had blown out an opponent, as they beat the Purdue Boilermakers 52-6 the week before. Complementary football has been the key for Wisconsin in both games, as they’ve looked the part on both sides of the ball.
Ahead of this week, quarterback Braedyn Locke spoke with reporters, breaking down his performance from Week 7 and looking ahead to this weekend’s matchup against Northwestern.
After throwing for 359 yards against Purdue, Locke followed that up with a 20/28 outing for 240 yards, a touchdown, and an interception, bouncing back after the early turnover for a productive outing.
He’ll now face a Northwestern team in Week 8 that blew out Maryland 37-10, thanks to solid play from quarterback Jack Lausch, as the Badgers look to get back from their embarrassing loss to the Wildcats last year.
Can Locke keep the magic rolling here in Week 8?
