The Badgers have another deep team that should compete in the Big Ten in 2025.
The Wisconsin Badgers underwent a roster overhaul this offseason, replacing their six seniors and other transfers with nine newcomers.
Now, they’re set for the 2025-26 season, with John Blackwell and Nolan Winter back to lead the way. This year’s group looks much different than last year’s squad, as Wisconsin doesn’t have John Tonje, but still has a number of quality starters with depth to fill in off the bench.
They’ll compete in a revamped Big Ten that saw major coaching changes, big transfer moves, and significant NIL money involved. Where does Wisconsin stand in the new-look Big Ten?

Following that, Michigan (+370) and Ohio State (+525) were next, followed by UCLA (+750), Illinois (+1200), USC (+1500), Oregon (+1800), and Wisconsin (+2000).
The Badgers were picked 12th in last year’s preseason media poll, which obviously turned out to be false. This year, there’s the potential for a top-four finish, but the Big Ten should be one of the most competitive conferences, so it’ll likely come down to the wire again.
