Another top recruit in the state of Wisconsin is heading elsewhere for their final high school year.
In recent years, the state of Wisconsin has seen quite a few top recruits depart to play their high school basketball careers elsewhere. That was especially seen with the 2025 class, dealing a blow to the Wisconsin Badgers with their in-state recruiting efforts.
Well, that’s happening again, as the No. 1 recruit in the state of Wisconsin, forward Vaughn Karvala, is heading to Bella Vista Prep for his final year of high school.
A four-star recruit from Oregon, Wisconsin, Karvala stands 6’6, 180 pounds and currently has seven scholarship offers.
Both Wisconsin and Marquette have shown interest in the top-50 junior, while Xavier, Iowa, Arizona State, Ole Miss, and Syracuse have all offered Karvala as well.
He’s an athletic wing who possesses three-level scoring ability, which has started to attract national interest. He visited Wisconsin and Marquette in the spring.
Currently ranked the No. 42 player in the country by 247Sports, Karvala is the latest top talent to come out of the state of Wisconsin. But, he’s now on his way to Bella Vista Prep in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he’ll look to gain even more traction on the national trail.
