The Badgers officially lost one of their commitments in the 2025 class to the Buckeyes.
The Wisconsin Badgers got some tough news earlier this month when four-star athlete Cody Haddad de-committed from the program, less than three months after verbally committing.
Two weeks later, Haddad announced his next destination, as the safety is heading to Ohio State, remaining in his native state to play for his hometown team.

Haddad’s recruitment has been one to watch, as the Badgers were able to initially secure a commitment from the four-star after bringing him on campus for their first Junior Day.
However, three days after his decision, Haddad got an offer from Ohio State, while several other Big Ten programs extended scholarships as well.
Haddad ultimately visited Ohio State three times this spring, including at their spring game this past weekend before committing to the program.
With him off to Ohio State, Wisconsin currently has seven commits in their 2025 class, although they did look heavy in the secondary early on, getting commitments from defensive backs Jaimier Scott and Remington Moss, who can both play at either safety or cornerback.
