College Football Fans Don’t Hesitate Naming Country’s ‘Drunkest’ Fan Base

September 20, 2024 by The Spun

The Top 25 Party Schools In The Country (1:17)

When it comes to college football, it’s tough to figure out which fan base is the best in the country. There are just so many passionate fans that it’s unfair to give one particular group that title.

With that said, OutKick told people on social media to figure out which college football team has the drunkest fans. It didn’t take long for sports fans to chime in with their thoughts.

After reviewing dozens of responses from college football fans around the country, it appears we have a winner.

Wisconsin has unofficially won the battle for having the drunkest fans in college football.

“It’s either Wisconsin or Wisconsin,” one fan tweeted.

Another fan wrote, “It’s no contest if Wisconsin has started allowing beer sales in the stadium during games.”

“Wisconsin, unless you see a Tennessee fan with a funnel,” a third fan replied.

“There’s a big difference between being the drunkest and drinking the most,” another user commented. “Wisconsin are professionals at the latter.”

Wisconsin’s fan base will have plenty of chances to flex its muscles this season. On Oct. 26, the Badgers will host the Penn State Nittany Lions in what could be a huge Big Ten matchup.

Later this year, Wisconsin will take on Oregon at Camp Randall Stadium. The Badgers could play spoiler if the Ducks are still undefeated by then.

For now, Wisconsin is 2-1 heading into a Sept. 28 game against USC.
